That's a lot to ask for a line consisting of an injury-prone 30-year-old, Max Unger, and two rookies.

BUT...it's still a massive accomplishment to grab the top two spots. We're more likely to pick between #6 and #10.Brandon Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03533683928083230398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3012469417215497172.post-73377969105024104352011-08-10T16:55:53.249-07:002011-08-10T16:55:53.249-07:00Yes, excellent article, B.A.

What if the ground game doesn't work, or the Hawks are too far behind too often to stay on the ground? I wouldn't be shocked if we are indeed a contender for the top two draft spots. Though I'd rather see the Hawks make the playoffs again, and Josh Portis make story of the year. Any Top 10 team with a shot at Barkley will probably be in need of a QB themselves, much as Cleveland should have just drafted Sanchez. Instead, they got a solid center and a glut of backups instead of a starting QB. Epic fail.

Additionally, if Barkley does declare in 2012 (and that's not a lock), he'll be going in the top two. That's a ridiculously hard spot to get into, either with your own record or with a trade-up.Brandon Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03533683928083230398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3012469417215497172.post-8774637557493851722011-08-10T08:23:42.991-07:002011-08-10T08:23:42.991-07:00What are the chances we trade down into the top 10...What are the chances we trade down into the top 10 for Barkley like the Jets did for Sanchez?enkor702https://www.blogger.com/profile/10767194117970149442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3012469417215497172.post-28460974884209209002011-08-10T08:19:38.157-07:002011-08-10T08:19:38.157-07:00Get outta my head dude!Get outta my head dude!enkor702https://www.blogger.com/profile/10767194117970149442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3012469417215497172.post-13866142069437226952011-08-09T18:44:44.358-07:002011-08-09T18:44:44.358-07:00Absolutely right, every word.Absolutely right, every word.Hawksince77http://www.theinnonthelibrarylawn.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3012469417215497172.post-26261038288396768952011-08-09T16:02:31.097-07:002011-08-09T16:02:31.097-07:00Impossible to say this early. All of these QBs including TJ come with risk and there was no slam dunk choice. While future hindsight could prove another QB to be a better choice, no one can accurately predict that now. Of course by piling on TJ now, the critics can later trumpet "I told you so" if he bombs. If he succeeds, crickets, with the criticism forgotten.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3012469417215497172.post-76038740965673808332011-08-09T09:40:40.947-07:002011-08-09T09:40:40.947-07:00Awesome write-up.
