Miller...I don't really think Rice is overpaid. Miller, perhaps a little. But both are better players than their receiving totals would indicate. Rice is an excellent blocker and has good intangibles- his presence on the field helps open up opportunities for our younger WRs who are still learning on the job. I really like Miller- he's a huge reason for the transformation in the running game since he's as viable as a blocker as he is as a pass catcher.

All in all, I've been highly impressed with John Schneider's free agency record here (lets not forget UDFA's and 53-man-cutdown-guys either). He was on the radio the other day and mentioned that this next offseason is going to be a big one for the Seahawks and free agency too. I'm looking forward to it.Kip Earlywinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07226256849167085207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3012469417215497172.post-91214041074173785932011-12-14T13:14:40.407-08:002011-12-14T13:14:40.407-08:00Eric I agree. This FO seems to be good at finding talent and they are finally restocking depleted positions so we have some depth, pretty soon they will have all the pieces and then we will really see what this team can do.Nicknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3012469417215497172.post-38660283935595747892011-12-14T11:52:55.878-08:002011-12-14T11:52:55.878-08:00Whitehurst and Trufant's contracts are up, so ...Whitehurst and Trufant's contracts are up, so no worry there. Even Trufant may be seriously having to fight for his job in the off season.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3012469417215497172.post-67782164821309621272011-12-13T11:33:14.355-08:002011-12-13T11:33:14.355-08:00Roger that Nick.

The whailing and gnashing of teeth by the media would provide big laughs.

As in law, the media is an ass.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3012469417215497172.post-40837809404451565052011-12-13T09:03:31.646-08:002011-12-13T09:03:31.646-08:00One thing I noticed that you didn't talk about...One thing I noticed that you didn't talk about Kip, was the announcers. One minute they'd be all over Browner and how good he is and the next they'd be hating on him.

I also didn't think it was cool near the end of the game that they were talking how this game should never have ended on MNF and fans deserved a good game and not a terrible one like this. This is common knowledge, why talk about it and drag both teams reputations down? Terrible judgement call by them.

I did notice that they were giving Seattle more love, but when compared to St Louis they didn't have any choice. Overall I was left very unimpressed with the announcers and the officiating. We all know they don't want to be out here but they are paid to be so shut up, do your research, and pretend that you are interested in this game.Nicknoreply@blogger.com
